SEDONA

I fell in love with Arizona back in 2019 when I spent almost a week visiting a friend in Tucson. Tucson was gorgeous — the desert landscapes, the soft light, and the hiking trails were prettier than I imagined. I was lucky enough to go back in 2022 to photograph an engagement session for a college friend in Tempe, and then again in May of 2024 to capture their intimate wedding. Tempe had such a charm to it — cute shops, walkable streets, and so much personality in one little town.

Fast forward to February 2024, my boyfriend (now husband) and I traveled to Scottsdale for the Waste Management Tour otherwise known as The People’s Open and to my surprise, that was the trip where I left as a Mrs. Arizona will forever hold an even more special place in my heart because of that moment.

A year later, we returned for the same golf tournament and decided to finally explore a place I’d always dreamed of seeing Sedona. Pulling into the valley of red rocks was surreal. The sun was hitting the peaks just right, turning the mountains into the most intense, fiery orange-red. Sedona felt like magic! A tiny, beautiful town tucked between towering cliffs. We spent the day hiking, taking in the views, and soaking up everything Sedona had to offer.

Arizona is truly one of the most beautiful states I’ve ever visited — full of color, warmth, and endless places to explore.
