CALIFORNIA

My love for California runs deep.

From San Francisco to San Diego — you name it, I’ll be there. My first real taste of California was back in 2019 when I road-tripped from Tucson, AZ to San Diego with the same friend. Seven and a half hours in the car, and somehow the second we crossed into California, it all felt worth it. I absolutely love everything California stands for — free beach access, oceanfront boardwalks, the surf culture, the endless sun. And yes, I fully admit I look at California through rose-gold glasses… but a girl can dream, right?

I was lucky enough to go back in October 2021 for a trip from Oregon down to Huntington Beach, and Huntington was SO COOL. Staying at an Airb&b where we could walk to the beach was the best part about my mini trip here. The nightlife, the surf life, the energy, the tacos, the coffee — pure heaven. I remember leaving and already hoping I’d find my way back again.

Then in 2022, I visited friends in the Bay Area for a family shoot, and oh my god, the Bay did not disappoint. Photographing the Golden Gate Bridge, watching the fog roll in, even capturing it on my drone from afar — it felt unreal. This trip was my last California trip so far, and I’m counting the days until I’m back. California just has this magic that has my heart and I will never let that feeling go, I’ll always find my way there again!
